RAIV IP can process big data used for deep learning or machine learning fast.

Fabless firm Siliconarts said on Monday that it has launched its general-purpose GPU IP called RAIV.

General-purpose GPU is used for AI software for deep learning and machine learning.

Siliconarts said its RAIV IP can process big data used for deep learning or machine learning fast.

It also supports machine learning on neural network and other inferences. It can use GPU multi threading to process various applications simultaneously.

RAIV was designed based on RISK-V. It was also developed in single instruction multiple threads architecture.

A Siliconarts spokesperson said the company plans to combine RAIV with its ray tracing GPU to develop a new chip that can process both 3D graphics and AI.
